This is the second novel in the Oregon Files series featuring Juan Cabrillo as the chairman of the Corporation, a group of ex-military and intelligence operatives who hire themselves out to countries and individuals needing specialized services--"a private army of mercenaries with a conscience." The Oregon is a 500-foot-long cargo steamer with a state-of-the-art communications and command center and a helicopter. The group's mission is to pick up a meteorite and deliver it to the CIA. It might be made of iridium, and iridium can be used to construct a "dirty bomb." Muslim terrorists who have stolen a nuclear device may use the radioactive material in the meteorite to vaporize a large Western city. Another group, led by a demented industrialist, seeks to destroy the Islamic world. As always, the plot covers many locales around the world, and the dialogue contains lots of military jargon. Love this book! It is so beautiful. The pictures are fantastic. I gave this to my daughter as a gift and she has read it and looked through it over and over. She has used it many times as reference for different plays she is working on.

Love, love, love! This book is amazing! Not only is it inspiring on a creative level, but I love how she wrote in what products she uses to achieve makeup looks. A lot of makeup artists don't share what products they use or tips on how they create certain makeup looks, and here she puts in step by step tutorials. This is definitely a must have for any makeup artist at any level!

Lots of spelling errors, but I don't think anyone is buying it for the literature. Such great art, tips, and ideas.

This is so amazing in every way. It will be a go-to gift for friends who have a creative spirit and appreciate the exquisite art and beauty of women.

About the Author
Lois Bly, M.A., PT, is a teacher and consultant and maintains a private practice in Maryland. She has worked for many years as a physical therapist, treating babies with developmental disabilities and children with cerebral palsy. Since 1980, she has taught numerous workshops, seminars, NDT basic courses, and advanced Baby Courses throughout the United States, Australia, Brazil, Argentina, and South Africa. She received her Master of Arts degree in Motor Learning from Teachers College, Columbia University, New York, New York, and her Bachelor of Arts from Thiel College in Greenville, Pennsylvania. She earned a Certificate of Physical Therapy from the D.T. Watson School of Physiatrics in Leetsdale, Pennsylvania, and received her initial training in Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) from Dr. and Mrs. Bobath in London, England.
